Pulsed semiconductor lasers in the near IR (NIR) are commonly used for long distance time-of-flight or phase-shift range finding systems. Excelitas offers a broad range of suited pulsed 905nm lasers including monolithic layered structures with up to 4 active areas per chip, resulting in up to 100 Watts of peak output power.

Excelitas is a major provider of high performance photon detection technologies, from Photon Counting Modules to Silicon Detectors and InGaAs Detectors, cameras, imagers and photodiode arrays.

Excelitas supplies the visible LED ACULED range, as well as Infrared LEDs emitting at either 880nm or 940nm. Excelitas designs and manufactures custom Chip-on-Board assemblies with single and multi-wavelengths from UV to IR with custom filters, sensors, optics and heatsinks. Through full colour spectral control combining multiple wavelengths of LEDs, Excelitas maintains good colour mixing and uniform intensity without colour separation over time and temperature. Active feedback circuitry, as well as LED bin sorting and matching, is utilised to deliver accurate colours and a wide colour gamut.
