PerkinElmer’s fabless CCD and CMOS camera and array facility supplies cost effective, state of the art camera products to Industrial Inspection and Sorting, Military and Biomedical markets. The use of third party fabrication facilities and Far East manufacturing enables state of the art capital to be utilised in the manufacture of PerkinElmer’s Digital Imaging products. The portfolio includes monochrome and colour digital linescan cameras with CameraLink ^TM Outputs, and a TE Cooled CMOS camera with 8 Electron dark current.

HanVision was the first company to develop real time cameras using Foveon X3 sensors, the world's first stacked layer imaging devices for real time single chip true colour imaging. Foveon technology is used in their HVSOLO line scan and HVDUO area scan cameras, including the new 14 Megapixel 14M HVDUO.
