Thermopiles

Thermopile detectors directly sense thermal radiation, providing a way of remotely measuring temperatures at low system cost. The sensor does not require cooling, and can reach an accuracy of +/- 1 deg C, dependent on the measuring range.

PerkinElmer's proprietary and innovative Si-based micromachining technology guarantees extreme long-term stability, very low temperature coefficient of sensitivity and excellent repeatability of electro-optical parameters.
