Acousto Optics

We offer a wide range of high efficiency acousto optic devices from Brimrose as shown in the table on the Acousto Optic Devices page. All Brimrose devices use a patented 'hard' metal bond to attach the transducer to the the crystal, making them particularly rugged and reliable. Acousto optic devices are used in laser equipment for electronic control of the intensity and position of the laser beam.

Many of the modulators and frequency shifters are also available pigtailed with single mode fibre and terminations for simple connection into fibre network applications.

A full range of complimentary power supplies and controllers are available for every acousto optic device including high performance frequency synthesisers that are required for use with AOTFs.
