Customised Displays

Pacer can offer a wide choice of custom options for displays.

The types of LCD module we offer include chip-on-glass, chip-on-board, surface mount, tape automated bonding and chip-on-film. Each offers different advantages and benefits.

A number of backlighting techniques can be considered -LED, CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) and EL (electro luminescent). Colour options include single, dual, red/green/blue enabling multicolour, and white.

External cabling, connections and power source requirements can be specified to suit your application. Touchscreens and/or heating elements can be fitted to your display if needed, and we can advise you on which type to choose.

How best to approach your display design will depend on what is most important to you, whether that is unit cost, set-up cost, reliability, suitability for high volume manufacture or one of several other factors. Depending on the display specification you require, we can advise on the best route to take.
